Direct Contact Initial Connection Error

When connecting Direct Contact systems, the process can be simple! However, if you are experiencing an issue with your initial connection, this article will explain what might be happening and how to resolve.



If you are experiencing difficulty connecting a direct contact integration, here’s one thing to check: Is your Transactional Mailer connected?

Direct Contact integrations rely on a Transactional Mailer (learn more about Transactional Mailers here) in order to connect with DataGrail and function normally.

Without a Transactional Mailer connected, DataGrail will not be able to complete this connection and no emails will be sent to Direct Contact owners.


If you cannot connect a Direct Contact integration check with your dedicated CSM or reach out to to see if you have a transactional mailer connected to DataGrail.
